Entry Level Affiliate Marketing Information

Affiliate Marketing is the most popular way to promote someone elses, or your own, product or service. People are paid whenever something is sold in this format. So if you sell an information product, and you were working with affiliates, you would pay them to deliver sales to you…sounds awesome right?

This marketing method is HUGE in popularity and only growing. Having your own affiliate system is great for internal use when you get large enough; however, when starting out I would suggest using Clickbank. Clickbank is the #1 method people are using to get their online business or up and running. It automates the entire process, including the tracking, payments and link building. You only have to upload your offer and your off to the races!

There are three ways that you will be able to compensate or be compensated.

#1: or Cost Per Click – You can pay people on clicks they send; likewise, you can get paid to send clicks to certain offers. I only know of this working in CPA and in “JV Launches” so I would avoid this technique for now and revisit once you know what your traffic is worth.

#2: CPS or Cost-Per-Sale – This is the #1 way in which all programs are marketed. The industry for Cost Per Sale advertiser grows every 10 seconds and is making a TON of people loads of money. Often times, Affiliate marketers make more selling products than big time CEO’s make. This is no joke, and I would highly suggest taking this course when marketing or looking to have others market your products.

#3: CPL (Cost Per Lead) – Now, a lead can be anything but mostly refers to the acquisition of a potential clients information. Whether that’s their Zip code, cell phone number, name, email address…the goes on and on honestly. I think this is the best way to get started, you get great payouts often times (if you are in the right CPA Network) and this ads up quickly and relatively easily.

How To Market A Resell Rights Product?

ResellRightsResell rights products offer you the ability to sell your own product, without actually

creating one. While this gets you past one hurdle – the creation of a product – you

still have another hurdle to face. How do you market a resell rights product?

The first and best option is to market the product to your mailing . If you do not

have a mailing , build one. There are various ways to do this, but the quickest way

to build a is to offer a product, which is advertised with pay-per-click or

through other people’s lists. When the prospect arrives at the site to receive their

gift, they must fill in their name and email address, and give you permission to email

them in the future.

Pay-Per-Click advertising can be used for more than building, however. You can

also use pay-per-click to market your resell rights product. Google AdWords is one of

the best pay-per-click programs in existence today, but there are many other

options, including Yahoo Search Marketing.

You can also purchase advertising in related newsletters, which are also called

ezines. This is a very effective way to market a product, and it is a tried and true

method. You can find quality newsletters by doing searches in the ezine directories

online.

Article marketing is also very effective. You simply write articles that relate to your

product, or have them written for you, and submit them to the various article banks,

allowing others to read them and use them for content for their newsletters and

websites, for . At the bottom of your articles, add a resource box, which is

essentially an ‘about the author’ paragraph, which should include a link to your

sales page.

You can also joint venture with people who have large mailing lists. Just make sure

that their lists are made up of people who will be interested in your product. It

doesn’t make sense to market football products to a mailing that is mostly made

up of women who are interested in recipes.
